Pay-as-you-go

Our most popular option, designed to allow maximum customizability. In this plan, you pay only for what you use and have the flexibility to go from basic messaging to pro messaging and back again as business needs require.

No monthly fee. Pricing includes:

  • Seats - $47
  • Platforms - $34, plus 10 credits/$0.025 per text message. All other platforms are free.
  • Basic Messages - 2 credits/$0.005 per message
  • Standard Messages - 20 credits/$0.05 per message
  • Pro Messages - 36 credits/$0.09 per message

Pricing Example 1: Solopreneur - Website and Email, Low-Medium Volume

You are on the Solopreneur plan. You use ChatBuddies on your website and with your email. In a month, you send 300 standard and 111 pro messages.

Your total cost is $97.

If you chose a Pay-As-You-Go, your total would be $139.99. Here is the breakdown:

  • 1 seat = $47
  • 2 platforms = 2 * $34 = $68

FAQs

What is the difference between Basic, Standard, and Pro Messages?

Basic messages:

These are pre-typed messages that are constant, and don’t require any AI interaction. For example, if you want ChatBuddies to send out mass-text messages on your behalf with a predetermined body, such as “Hello from company x. We have a sale going on at www.example.com. Come check it out!” These are the simplest messages, and so they are the cheapest to send, at 2 credits/$0.005 per message.;

Standard messages:

These are AI-generated messages, where the amount of information the AI uses is limited. For example, a customer is interacting with a standard chatbot on one of our websites and asking it questions such as “what is company x’s mission statement”, or “Why should I purchase a product form company x”. Because of the relative complexity of these messages, they are our middle-of-the-road option to send, at 20 credits/$0.05 per message.

Pro messages:

These use a lot more data, such as conversation histories, database integrations, website scraping, and complex training from our developers. For example, a customer is emailing an event coordination inbox managed by ChatBuddies, and asks “What is the dress code for the Renaissance ball on the 24th? How many courses will there be? Will there be parking validation at the event?”. These messages use the most data to generate, and they are our most advanced option at 36 credits/$0.09 per message.

What if I want to cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions can be canceled whenever you want. It’s as easy as the click of a button.

How do I use more than my plan includes?

On the Pay-As-You-Go plan, you never have to worry about overages.

On the Solopreneur plan, by default, ChatBuddies allows you to use extra resources as needed.

You can disable overages in the dashboard, and it will keep you from taking on any additional charges!

What if I want to switch from Pro to Standard messages in the middle of a billing cycle?

No problem! You can turn Pro messages on and off whenever you like and you'll only be charged for what you use.

Can I turn off the chatbot for a specific circumstance?

Yes! With ChatBuddies, you are always in charge. You can intervene in any conversation or set parameters for your chatbot to make sure you're in control of technical or sensitive conversations.
